Learn how to help family or friends exercise their legal right to create uniquely designed end-of-life celebrations, funeral arrangements and ceremonies, properly handle paperwork, transportation and other logistics. Discover the benefits of home funerals and green burial.

Instructor: Jerrigrace Lyons, founder of Final Passages, featured in the acclaimed PBS documentary, A Family Undertaking (available on Netflix as DVD).
Guest Presenter: Redwing KeyssarRN, BA, Author, Director of the Palliative Care Program at the SF Jewish Children’s and Family Services. Redwing draws upon 25+ years of nursing experience in oncology, critical care and hospice. She is one of the founders of the California State University Institute of Palliative Care, and has taught courses in all aspects of end-of-life. Her book, Lasts Acts of Kindness; Lessons From the Bedside of the Dying, won a 2011 American Journal of Nursing Book-of-the-Year Award.
