This presentation is suitable for end-of-life workers as well as the public. We will examine common end-of-life options such as Voluntary Stopping of Eating & Drinking (VSED) and Medical Aid in Dying. 

Please join us for our 1st free online event:

  • Voluntary Stopping of Eating & Drinking (VSED) and Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) will be examined.  
  • Learn how to make informed decisions as a consumer and help others come to those decisions.
  • Interactive group discussion- ask questions, share experiences and feelings in small-group settings.
  • Suitable for end-of-life workers as well as the public.
  • Additional resources will be offered for further study.

ABOUT YOUR PRESENTERS

Lori Goldwyn 2022

Lori Goldwyn began as a Hospice & Palliative Care volunteer in 2013 and became an End of life doula in 2016. Since 2018 she specializes in assisting those who choose the CA End of Life Option Act. Lori is a founding member of the Bay Area End of Life Doula Alliance. She lives in Point Richmond, CA.


Laura Musselman headshot

Laura Musselman is an end-of-life-doula, a death educator, and volunteers with a local hospice as well as Compassion & Choices. A former professor of both philosophy and writing, she is also at work on a book about her own experiences with grief and loss. Laura lives and works in Central California.
