About your presenters:
Denise Johnson
In her mother’s final months, Denise hired an end of life doula because she understood that there would be no do-overs and she wanted a safety net in place to ensure that her and her sisters were ready and able to support her mother’s end of life journey. After experiencing her motherʼs death through her love-tinted glasses as sacred, divine, natural, peaceful, inevitable, and her final rite of passage, she couldn’t unsee it.
Once the dust settled she spent the next few years training as an End of Life Doula, apprenticing with her mother’s doula, and volunteering for the hospice company that cared for her mother.
On the second anniversary of her mother’s death, Denise founded EOL 101 LLC to help others orchestrate the best possible exit strategy for themselves and their loved ones.
In this chapter of her life she is on a personal crusade to help redefine what the end of life journey can look like in America, one beloved at a time.
Meredith Melvin
Meredith supports others that are on the journey of dying. Working to restore normalcy of the absolute truth of death and dying in our world, she shows up as an end-of-life resource holder, death café facilitator, passage doula, death midwife, apprentice of grief, and one who will die one day, too.
Danielle Pacific
Living in a more rural and native community on Hawai’i Island, Danielle seeks to support transplants who are without community, offers educational opportunities to local communites about Death Care and Choices, and sits with people traveling through Grief. She is active in the home funeral and green burial activism and seeks to empower others to consider their desires upon death.

Our live interactive online Embracing End of Life (EEoL) Series are free events brought to you by Final Passages, a 501(c)3 non-profit.People who register for the live events often givbe a donation at the time they register, and get the replay at no cost.
