Ladybird is a registered nurse, social worker, and biodynamic craniosacral practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and groups through life’s transitions, specializing in palliative and end-of-life care. She currently offers virtual palliative care consultations and education with Mettlehealth, and facilitates an online, 12-month Psychedelic Practitioner Training Program with Synthesis Retreats.

Ladybird is honored to have co-founded The Humane Prison Hospice Project and hascontributed her skills to organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, The Zen Hospice Project, Commonweal’s Cancer Care Help Program, and Insight Out’s Guiding Rage into Power.

She served as a co-investigator for a University of Washington trial studying psilocybin therapy for clinicians experiencing depression from frontline care during the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently participating as a facilitator for a “multicenter triple-blind phase 2 randomized controlled trial of psilocybin therapy for demoralized adults near the end of life.”

Ladybird’s work is deeply shaped by her lifelong dedication to contemplative practices and the pursuit of inner freedom.
