Recorded June 15, 2023
Presenters: 6 End of Life Doulas
Lori Goldwyn, Danielle Pacific, Sarah Hill, Bobbi Bryant, Linda Suhr and Jerrigrace Lyons
Lori Goldwyn led off with definitions of MAiD (Medical Aid in Dying) and EOL Doulas, (End of Life Doulas) and their role in caring for the dying. The variety of MAiD case studies shared from different perspectives and articulated by our EOL Doulas added layers of deep learning to our listeners and all interested in this subject.
There were pointers mentioned about the benefits of having the support of an EOL Doula when an individual chooses MAiD.
